Collectible monster games are bound to have similarities. Especially when they’re coming from the same country and based on popular animals, mythological creatures, and everyday items. Yo-Kai Watch is bound to be compared to Pokemon, and for good reason. The two games are similar in premise and have a lot of character design parallels.

Pokemon games tend to be a yearly affair, right? Ever wondered why you haven’t heard an announcement concerning a 2015 installment?
